Any of you using the BBK intake manifold??
Hi just wanted to know if any of you are using a BBK intake manifold on your boosted honda's (on a B18C )or know of anyone using it. If so please tell me what Throttle body you are using??
Im having trouble matching the 70mm STR TB with it, im wondering if i can only use the BBK TB with it.
I thought id give it a try and see how well it does.

Contact the people you got the manifold from ..or the company that makes it. Then contact str. and ask why isnt fitting.

I almost bought that manifold, but wasn't sure if all the stock sensors will fit on it like the IACV. Also, it should fit any TB that fits on your stock intake manifold, since you are supposed to be able to use the stock TB on the BBK, right?

read my previous post.........a quick search will tell you that like, 1943875 people have the edelbrock manifold. base your research off of that, and you'll get your answer.

Re: Any of you using the BBK intake manifold?? (JSpin)
Its not EXACTLY like the edelbrock, some parts are different such as the Edelbrock has a 65mm opening when a BBK has a 70mm TB opening. and its that, that i have a problem with.
Thanks for your advice tho

Yea thanks.. the only thing i had to modify was the throttle cable
any idea what TB he is gonna use with it?
It is a very nice manifold. nicely finished like u said
the problem im having is getting the port that leads to the IACV on the Intake manifold to match with the port on the STR TB. when attached together the Port on the TB is ina different position causing the entryport on the manifold to be blocked, and I THINK that is not letting me idle properley.

yes they are exactly a replica of JG Victor X
I run the JG Victor X on my 84mm GSR Turbo and my little bro runs the BBK Manifold on his B20Vtec Turbo and we have both had side by side comparisson of the manifolds when it wasnt installed in the car..and yet i cant not tell a difference between the two .. as far as stock TB on the BBK , we dont have an answer .. he is running the 70mm BBK TB which is a great throttle body for the prices asked from ebay and HT sponsored vendors

I think that maybe my problem the STR TB is not matching with theBBK intake mani, i could either get a BBK TB or get another inatke manifold
