though it says for a d-series motor, it's the same exact step and tranny set up on a b-series.

get any civic manual it will tell and show you .all you have to do is get a ratchet dont put any socket on it, there is a bolt that has a square opening sitting sideways on the bottom of your trans (bottomside) this is the drain hole . the only way to get this bolt out is with a ratchet, the ratchet has a sqaure end on it, this sqare end is where you would normally put a socket on it but you dont need any socket because the ratchet will literally plug into the bolt and dont worry its the only bolt like that on the entire car. so pull the bolt out, let old oil drain. when its done draining put the bolt back in. Now here's a tip the book wont tell you. to refill the trans you have 2 options, the book way(which means you have to poor oil in from the side at another bolt hole located above and behind the drain hole) or you can do it the easy way! locate your speed sensor its located at the top of the trans (you may have to pull your intake out of the way) its sticking strait up on the back side of the trans (topside) with a 3 wire plug on it. unplug it then you have to pull 1 10mm bolt out (EASY!) once the bolt is out pull the sensor out if it feels stuck its not! wd40 it and wiggle it out. once its out you have an easy place to refill trans. now get a long funnel and start refilling, it takes 2+1/2 quarts to refill, I highly suggest using "syncromesh"(1 quart)and then 1+1/2 non sythetic 5w30 motor oil (all at autozone)or go to honda dealership and get "honda MTF"and pay 6.50 a quart. (dont use thick gear oil!) but i always use syncromesh cause it will help get rid of grinds and keep your sycro's in your tranny healthy! when your done filling the trans with whatever fluid put the speed sensor back in,put the 10mm bolt back in and finally plug the sensor back up(if you dont your speedo gauge wont work and youl get a check engine light so dont forget!)after all that your done! and you will acually enjoy doing it from now on cause you'll know it will be done right (jiffy lube will[freak] it up!)just remember tranys will last forever if fluid changed regularly and you dont power shift the hell out of it! tranny's are expensive especially
b series ones! good luck
