Default Couple quick questions about the F23 block!

I am thinking about using an H22a4 crank and rods with some shelf pistons to get me to about 13:1 compression.

What is the largest bore recommended for boring?

Would I be better off using the F23 crank and rods?

Anything else I should be aware of before doing this?

Thanks

You can safely bore out to 87mm. What is it that your wanting to accomplish with this motor to need 13:1 comp?
Side note you would be much better keeping the F23 crank and rods.

13:1++ E85 build!

I was worried about the strength of the F23 rods, that is why I considered the a4 parts!

How high do you plan on reving? If its not to high you'll be ok using the F23 rods. If its any thing over 7000. I would go with after market rods. There are no rod bolts avalible for that motor.
