Lesser of two evils... or so
As a Honda fan my whole life I feel like my world has been turned upside down after driving a v8 for my first time a few months ago (threw gravel upon lifting the clutch, hadn't even pressed the gas yet)
I'm tired of not having a car on campus, so I'm thinking about getting a kinda beater that I won't shed a tear for when some drunk *** climbs on my hood or whatever. I found a 2003 mustang gt for ~10 grand... I know it would be a cardinal sin.. but ah, it would be easier to maintain than an rx8.
That got me thinking, who/what do the average Honda owners dislike more? Scion tC's or Hyundai Tiburons?

i have to admit, i saw a tc the other day that had a fully tuned out exterior including sweet spoiler, full body kit, sweet paintjob, lowered and limo tint and it looked pretty sweet... but for me, its all about whats under the hood.
im not really a fan of tiburon's... they just dont have as much saying to them...

Not to be the defender of Tiburons, but they actually do NOT suck as much as people think they do. I used to own a 2003 V6 and never had a single problem with it for the four years that i owned it.
Of course performance wise they are not as worthy as the Si, but they still have massive potential and respond good to modifications.

Only decent thing said so far.

Both vehicles are good, depends on what style you like and what your plans are for the future. To my understanding Scion will hold it's resell value better than the Tiburon.
Both have a good following in the aftermarket parts department.
The Tiburon has come a long way from it's predecessors.
So, it's boils down to your style.........it's your money, your car, spend it where you'll be happy.
