well now that i fixed my power steering my VTEC is acting up.. it seems like it only kicks in when it wants to. in first sometimes it kicks in at normal vtec RPM's but when it doesnt not it kicks in at like 7800 RPM.. and in secnd it kicks in at about low 7k... wut could be the problem.. it sometimes does it. it happens more often then normal tho.. could it be due to my CEL for the catalyic converter?

 

Have you checked your oil level lately?

 

no I haven't but I have no oil light?

The oil light aka idiot light only comes on when you're dangerously low on oil. You should never see that light on. VTEC will stop kicking in long before the oil light comes on...take it as your firs warning that you may be low
