How to check for continuity when installing resistor box?
Hey I know its been covered guys but my hands are full of grease from installing this turbo kit and I need to get it done while the suns out....don't have time to be searching and reading.
What tool do I need to check for continuity? I understand how to wire the box in, just not how to make sure which 4 wires I need to run to the resistor box.....thanks.
I went to radioshack and bought a volt and ohm reader but my friend says she doesn't think that will work....let me know.

You can use the ohmmeter. If it has a measureable resistance, then there's continuity. A digital meter will work better than an analog because the analog may not have the resolution to move the needle.
I recommend the auto-ranging multimeter from Sears. It's only $30 and it has a continuity tester that makes an audible beep when there's continuity and it's auto-ranging so you don't have to fiddle with the dial. The leads are junk and like to pop out of the box sometimes. They're also a bit short for some things that I need it for.

ok dumb question, but Are you saying that I can set it on the OHM side of the meter and that just the wire itself will produce some sort of resistance? and thats how I tell when I'm touching the pin that corresponds to the injector plug I'm touching?
Yes. But the meter has to be able to register that small amount of resistance. It will probably be in the tenths to hundredths of ohms.
