DA Seat belt stopped working?
The driver side seat belt stopped rolling up, it will only go if you force it and pull it all the way there, then when you open the door it will go back down. Anyone ever had this problem before? Any help would be appreciated.
I had the same problem with my seat belt. Just go to the dealership and they will replace the whole seatbelt for free because there a life time warranty.

can they replace that??
and u guys say it's free...does that mean labor? or parts as well..

The dealership should replace the seatbelt if u have to do that and everything is free labor, parts, and free car wash

It costs 125 for the inspection fee
And since the car is salvaged its not free to replace, have to pay for it

A salvaged title means the vehicle was in an accident, stripped, or otherwise mistreated. I would not expect them to cover that. If the title was clean, that would have been a warranty repair.

That is pretty ridiculous, salvage or not its people's saftey..
Well anyone know why the seatbelt wont go up? But goes down when you open the door?
What can possibly be wrong with it? something unplugged? Is there something that touches or gets pushed when the door closes that tells the seatbelt to go up.
Any help would be appreciated.

yup should be free. my friend got his replaced (ef) and it was free.
the only thing that might prevent you from getting a free one, is that they run a series of tests to make sure it is not working, thats at least what my friend said. if it doesnt pass those test then you get a free one, and if it passes then you dont get anything, unless that is you buy a new one.
so goodluck

they won't fix it because it's a liability issue. if your car has been in a accident or something to that extent it could effect the something that the dealership will find and the owner might blame the dealership for it.
my driverside seatbelt wasn't working when i bought the car, but the seatbelt was already pulled back so i would just unbuckle it and buckle it back there. until i got it fixed at the dealership.
but for my advise to you would be to find a manual for the car and see what's going on with the seatbelts. hondahookup has it. just google them. or just unplug the clip so there's no power to the seat belt and pull it back like you said, since there's no power there it'll stay and you can just buckle it from there. it still functions as a seatbelt too so don't be scared

well for me, i really didn't even know myself. but when i took it to the dealership they found that the clip behind the rear panel (the panel that goes all the way from behind the door to the trunk) was un-plugged.
but i heard you can unplug it from the computer under the dash on the passenger side.
