ok so i just dropped a jdm h22 in my 92prelude it used to be an f series . ok so i got everything plug in got a wire harness made and everything well . now here is the problem today i try to start it up for the first time and it just sputtered u know how it would when it doesnt have enough power but its not that so than check all my ground wire to see if it was that no so i tryed spray throttle body cleaner and thats kinda like fuel so it started up for like 2 seconds but only cuz of that stuff i was spraying was igniting in the block .. so i toke off the fuel line and no fuel was going thru.. not sure wat it is im thinking its a relay for the fuel pump or something ? i checked all the fuses and there all fine so not to sure on wat to do ... please help.

 

does the fuel pump prime when you switch the key "on"

 

hey i had the same problem with my prelude its a pain to get it started if the computer and the key dont correspond. I ended up buy a complete harness with key and computer then it started up

 

no it does not, i dont think its even getting current ..so it might be a relay right ? and if so wat do i do just buy a new one right ..?

 

actually i had a harness made for it already so i doubt its that plus we got it started for like 3 seconds ahaha but thats about it

 

hook a battery to the fuel pump make sure that it is running once you see that the fuel pump is good its expensive to go buy one and find thats not the problem so try first with a battery

 

if the fuel pump does not prime, i would say you have a bad main relay.
