Hey everyone I want to get ether a civic or a del sol. I'm new to this forum. I guess what I'm asking is what is easier to work on and what year? I'm a newb and want to start on a project car.

Sorry if this has already been asked at some point. Any help would be great.

 

personal preference really, civics are easier to find parts for but del slows are a little more unique. I'd look around the web and search for parts and different looks before you dump money into anything

 

ok thats what I was kind of seeing around the net and around oregon. that its easier to get civic parts thanks.

 

del Sol is a lot more unique, I personally fell in love with my EG2, and the 94 model and up, the vtec version came with B16 engine. Its heavier than quite some other models but its a thing of love LOL. Anyways what do you want? Drag? Street race? Track? Daily driver with attitude?

 

I would say Daily driver with attitude then maybe some day street race it. I think I'll go with a civic now I just have to find a 5 speed. Is there anything on any of the 92 and up years I should watch out for?
