Default line lock problems

installed the B&M line lock and I cant get it to work. I tested the system JUSt by pressing the button thinking it will lock the rear brakes but it didnt.

Now sitting here got me thinking that I might need to press the brakes THEN apply line lock to lock the pressure in the back?

Im I correct? I been scartching my head over this for some time

im gonna move this to drag after,

but yeah just turning on the line lock wont lock the brakes. you need to apply the brakes, then lock it, it disallows the fluid to return to the master, thus keeping the brakes applied.

Got the lock to work but im having more issues. It seems that I cant put to much load on the car as it just moves forward without full locking the back brakes. The tech from B&M told me I should install the solenoid backwards when used for the back brakes ie IN should be feeding the brakes and OUT should be feed by the master cylinder. I dont know why but it seemed not right to me.

I am putting alot of pressure on it, i also have an adjustable rear brake bias which I have fully opened for fluid to go to back more but I cant lock the car down, hand brakes seem way more effective.

obviously...if ur tried to pump pump pump then lock or just push it hard and lock it and nothing worked..then CLEARLY...u are getting little to no pressure back thier...when u bleed the brakes and they are holding the brake down waiting for u to loosen the screw...when u loosen it that fluid should fly out of thier not just dribble....it should shoot a good foot to 2 feet....if it doesnt its getting blocked somewhere or ur MC or prop valve is shot

I bleed the system and there is loads fluid jumping out the back brakes. Does it matter where in the lines you install the solenoid? Mine is about 1 meter after the brake bias valve which i have incar.

B&M tech guy told me to install the solenoid feed and release lines backwards as to what they indicate on the solenoid itselt (IN/OUT) when using it on the back. I never understood why.
