Default Peru Auto-X

I got some pictures from the Auto-X here in Peru last Sunday. It was a pretty sweet event with some bad *** cars.

You say Peru, and I initially thought "not the country." Then I see a Renault and a SEAT. What gives?

The R8 the fastest car other than a few STi's. IT looked and sounded great! The surface was seriously dusty and the AWD cars just dominated if you drove them right. You could tell the low grip was giving most people problems. Next time I'm down there I will try to line up a car to drive.

Thats one of the things you deal with when you're in the air-cooled v-dub world.

And then you slapped yourself, right? I hope? Talk to RJ if you need more convincing to not do that

No worse than any other car with a swing axle rear suspension.

My 1979 Triumph Spitfire with -4.75* of rear camber. On hard launch squat, its easily 7 or 8 degrees of negative camber back there.

With a swing axle, you want lots of camber. The alternative, is to have insane snap oversteer on transitions (slaloms) when you load up the positively cambered, previously inside, tire.

Wow that looks bad ***. We've got a big contingent here in houston but hardly any manufacture tents (more chances during div & natl) and of course no trophy girls. . . . . . . and a podium? was there only 1 class?
