burning oil question
German friend recently got a recked ITR and swaped the B18C6 into a delsol.
He pulled the head and had put new valve stem seals in. The guides were within spec. The cylinder walls look fine. No scratches at all, the hone marks looked damn good, so he didn't touch the bottom end. He also replaced the oil pump. Now he has it together and it's buring 1 liter every 200 kilometers. I looked at the PCV valve and it was stuck, so I sprayed some brake cleaner in it and told him to get another on. All the plugs are fouling so I don't think that the rings are bad. Maybe if it were one or two cylinders. The oil light comes on at start up for about 3 seconds, and he put a new oil pump in it. Any thoughts
