MAIN RELAY...PLEASE HELP
Finally I think I can get my car started! Thanks tpot90.
I need to replace the main fuel pump relay on my 1999 Hond Acoord EX 4cyl. Can anyone help me find it? I know its under the drivers dash, nest to the steering coloumn, but man there are many things down there. Also, is the main fuel pump relay the same this as the main relay? All help is good, thanx

The main relay is pretty easy to find.
Look at the first picture posted here:

Look for the orange connecter that is pictured at that site. The replacement procedure calls to remove the Cruise Control ECU, ETC, but i didnt have to. If you can get under the dash, you can just see the black Relay box that is mounted with a silver bracket.
1. Do not bother trying to remove the bracket mount, or the Relay box.
2. Simply pinch the tabs that are connecting the wires to the Relay box and wiggle it a bit until it comes out. You may need to use a small flathead screwdrive to pry it out. Be careful not to pull the actual wires.
3. Take the new Main Relay box and plug the wires and connecter to the Main Relay.
4. Take some rubber bands/zip-ties and find a spot to mount the new relay. Its not heavy so you should just be able to find a small nook for it up in the dash. I connected mine to a grip of other wires with rubberbands. No problems so far.
The main relay is the same as the main fuel pump relay.
Here is a link to purchase an OEM main relay.

Thats a little over priced, but you get the idea of what youre looking for.
I too have a 1999 Honda EX, a 6 cylinder. My check engine light was on for four months. At first I got OBD II codes: P0401 and P01491. I thought it was EGR valve and emissions. Car ran a little rough so I worked on emissions. Car ran better but CEL stayed on. Next, about three weeks ago, car would not start when cold, very intermittantly, usually no problem (I am in S. Florida, so cold weather is rare). Again I did OBD II. Now in addition to above codes: P0301,302, 303, 304, 305, and 300. I tried to sell the car, but was told $1000 dollars lower because of activated CEL.
Then I read the posts here, and I replaced the Main fuel relay ($46.99 at Advanced Auto Parts).
Immediately CEL went out. Car started right up, even runs a little smoother. OBD II showed NO CODES at all. I think I'll hold off selling the car for awhile.
