Speed Control Sensor Q.

I've got a 5spd speed control sensor
and my friend has a automatic
can i take the top of mine off
and put the automatic one on and connect
the hose? Thx!

anyone?
i got another one (freebie btw)
but its for a 96 civic
but can i take the top off the automatic
scs and put the manual on it?
my homie wants some "VTECH" lol..

thx dude so its the plug that makes sense i guess since i took it apart and put it back together it worked but it went out again... it does sound like a loose connection huh?
