i have a 97 civic ex and i took the d16y8 out and put a 99 b16a2 but the distributor didn't fit so i took the insides off the 99 and put the 97 but now the problem is that i don't know witch one is 1 2 3 4 and the distributor works so if any one has any idea just let me know.

 

Looking at the dizzy from the right fender, bottom right is cyl 1...bottom left is cyl 2.... upper left is cyl 3...upper right is cyl 4. Hope that helps. And this is true of all period honda 4 cyl motors.
