cruise control retrofit?

i did a search for "cruise" in the archive for this forum and didnt find what i was looking for.

i have a 99 Si and the cruise control was removed. However, i want to reinstall it. can i use the entire cruise control from another "ek" like a EX per say? or does it strictly have to be from a 99-00 Si?

im guessing you can because there really is no difference in the cruise control's

pasting this from pm so everybody can see it...

The cruise control is practically identical between the 2000 EX and 99 Si except for a slight variation in the hose that goes to the IM (B mani vs. D mani) and the pedal pull. I imagine the difference in part #s for the pedal pull is because the 2000 has a clip for it but the 99 Si does not. Silly, isn't it? It would fit, though.
