CEL code #44
I drove today for the first time in 3 and half months my CRX B16A1 and it threw me with a cel code 44 after few miles.
Couldn't find anywhere what 44 stands for. And yes it is 44, four long and four short, then pause and the same again.
So what could it be?

That code is for a different vehicle.
All car makes have their own trouble codes until obd2 when the universal "P"code was adopted. But even then some car makes still have their own trouble codes.
to the op. I have never personally seen or heard of code 44. sorry man.
