Door Problem... need help fast.
Today in my school shop a 1999 Honda accord sedan LX came in with a door problem. the handles on the inside and outside wouldn't open the drivers side door. The handles are both connected to their rods. the key and power button will lock and unlock the door. I need to fix this problem without destroying the interior panel. Anyone?
Here are a couple of threads to get you started:

Based off of those threads, it looks like you would need to remove the driver's seat to pop off the door panel. At that point you may need to replace the lock? I dunno but I am curious to see what the problem actually is, I have a '99 LX sedan.

I have an '01 Accord and the doors are simple to remove. No need to take out the seats. Where the door handle is, there is a little circle cover. Open that with a flathead screwdriver and remove the screw inside. Look where the arm rest is on the door and there is another plastic cover in the little pouch.
Next, by the sail (or whatever the plastic triangle piece is called, there is a little plastic pin thing. Pry that off and remove the triangle piece. Remove the control piece on the door's arm rest from the top with a flat head screwdriver and disconnect all plugs, there will be 3. To remove the door handle push it forward (to the right) and pull it out. Disconnect the plug.
To take the panel off, the rest is all held in by clips. I usually lift and pull from the bottom pull the rest of. Don't pull it off completely because on the lower left on the inside of the door panel there is a light bulb. Twist it to disconnect it. Finally, lift the door panel up.
