Default Intake mani/cams in b18 or b16 head?

Looking for a mild upgrade to my 95 gsr. Dont want to spend too much and not looking for a big build. Just looking to get around 200hp or a little more.

I've heard that you can just put a set of stage 1 cams into a b18 without changing the valvetrain. Is this true? If it is, what would give a better gain... stage 1 cams in my b18 or putting a b16 head on it with b16? b18? cams.

thinking right now about maybe skunk2 pro series stage 1 cams and a intake mani...thoughts? will I need upgraded head internals?

New to the honda scene (previously dealt with dsms) so any info will be helpful.

Have a comptech intake and a greddy exhaust mani right now.

You do not want to put the B16 head on the GSR block, it will decrease your compression. Skunk2 states that you can use the stage 1's without a valvetrain but it is recommended to upgrade that. The stage 1's are just a tiny bit bigger than OEM ITR cams which you can use without upgrading valvetrain but not to its fullest(can't rev too high without risk). The stage1's and a IM will be decent if thats what you want.
I personally have 01 ITR cams and springs with a Skunk2 IM and love them both.
