Default boiling power steering fluid

Maybe I'm crazy.

My girlfriends 07 ex sedan has been sounding funny, sounds like boiling liquid. So we popped the hood to see what there was to see. Coolant levels fine, temp gauge smack in the middle. Brake fluid fine.

Powersteering fluid was bubbling, pretty intensely. I assume that's the cause of the boiling noise. Does anyone know why this is happening??

Side note, she says her car feels like its been in "D3", i guess she means it feels like shes stuck in a lower gear than normal. She's had the car since new, 29k-ish miles.

Thanks in advance

The P/S fluid was bubbling because there is air in the rack or lines still and its escaping through the resivor. Your P/S Fluid is not boiling

Why would you perpetuate erroneous information like that? She could be modded to the hilt but unless the part or parts caused or contributed to the cause for which her warranty claim was sought a dealer is obligated to perform service under warranty.
