Use aircraft remover.
Spray it on the tint, wait 15 mins and it will peel off. I tried the garbage bag idea, windex, razor blade, spent about 3 hours and said *******
Went to the store, picked up a can, sprayed, walked away, came back and pulled it off
Couldn't believe it. So if anyone plans on taking off their tint, just use this...

I did mine the other day with a couple friends, we just peeled the tint itself right off. And to get the glue off, we just put on some Goo Gone, let it sit, and then scraped it off with a razor blade. Easy, a little time consuming though.

Amen. Another great idea. The steam will actually penetrate the window film and start to heat up the adhesive again, causing it to become sticky again. This allows you to peel it right off in almost one big piece.
