Hondata HondaLogger s200
hey, i was wondering, has anyone used the hondalogger program from hondata? i am having a connection problem. and dont know what to do about it. should i contact hondata? i have windows vista.

got it. its port 5 for me... i was beginning to get worried. lol. thanks. i figured it out at a local car meet. lol cops came as i left to do a test run and made them all clear the lot. haha.. i got my runs.
I couldn't use a USB to serial converter in my datalogging cable. It had to be a serial cable. If I tried to use the USB converter, it would drop the connection within 20 seconds of hitting the F10 button.

The port number is not going to be the same for all laptops. If you have Device Manager open in Windows, and are looking at the ports, you can see which port is getting assigned to your cable when you plug it in.

correct, but if your laptop is like mine , none of the ports are 10 or below, so i had to go into the device manager and manually change the port to a lower number
