Hi honda-tech people, I'm having a gas problems with my ek. I currently have a f22 installed in the civic. The car has a problem starting up. I have to crank the car at least four times just to get it running. When I attempt to accelarate, it bogs out or stalls and comes back to life when I rev it up. If I let the car sit for five minutes it drives fine. My other situation is that when i'm driving it will sometimes
smell like gas and fumes and sometimes not. It does not appear to be leaking gas when parked. I'm getting about 8 miles to the gallon. Someone please help me, I really want to make it to madison honda meet, but i'm not pay hundreds just to get there and back. Any suggestions?

 

Obviously your running to rich on fuel. Now you need to figure out why. Are there any check engine codes on, if so what are they? If not, are you running any aftermarket fuel parts like a regulator? Check your sensors especially the 02 sensor. Also check if your headers or manifold is cracked, if they are that would cause some of the symptoms your having. Good luck.
