I own a 1994 Honda Civic DX Coupe, and just recently my reverse lights have stopped working. I'm not much of a car buff, so all I was able to do is check the fuse and the bulbs, all of which were fine. Can anyone help? I can provide pictures if needed.

 

check the wiring harness on the trans, or near it actually. look for any wires that may be cut or shorted out. mine kinda did that, the harness kinda broke and i had to get a new one for it. so check that out, sounds like it might be it.

 

check the wiring on the tranny.

 

Yeah, I don't know that much about cars... so where would this harness be on the tranny?

 

sometimes after time passes, bulbs iventually die out without messing up the filliments of the bulb or the fuses..simply try to change the bulb to a newer one...hope that works..

 

yes change the bulbs
if it still dosent work you need to remove the reverse light switch from the tranny and inspect it.

but change the bulbs first
