scratchX will make it less noticeable, but nothing is going to take it out completely

i tried touch up paint but didnt know if anything else would work better

1. Lightly wetsand the scratch, a few strokes with the scratch, then a few strokes across it. The scratch and the small area around it should be dull.

2. Buff it with an abrasive compound, following with a polish.

If that didn't solve the problem then use a duplicolor's clear touch up. This will avoid any color match issues.

Only use color-matched touch up paint if the scratch went down into the primer or metal.
