Being new here and with limited posts I`ll try to cover most of the bases in one try.
new owner of `96 EJ8 with seizeeed D16y8 motor.replaced with JDM D15b vtec.changed cam gear and timing belt,timing was checked and double checked and is correct.changed out a couple of sensors and used original intake and fuel injection system which worked fine til it spun a main. everything is pluged in,all sensors and vacumn lines are intact.otta start right up huh? cranked the engine over,cranks fine,will not start.checked for fire,got a white hot spark.pulled fuel rail and cranked engine over,got no fuel spray,also while cranking I can hear the main
fuel relay raising hell.thats not right is it?got plenty fuel pressure as it`ll blow the injectors right out of the rail.OH CIVIC GERU`S what am I looking at, a main fuel relay or did my P2P ECU(or pcm) take a dump? perplexed with no noid light and really am stuck.also injectors measure between 11.2 and 12 ohms of resistance with no OL`s love my CIVIC and want to make it well...help!
