Sounds like a bad or badly wired IACV. When the IACV isn't hooked up, your car will idle at 500 RPM. It vibrates so bad at that RPM simply because it has trouble maintaining idle and it will fluctuate wildly as the ECU uses the ignition timing and fuel to keep it alive.

well thanks for the responses..
I drove it around some more and it started stalling out. popped a CEL P1259 for VTEC system. Looked and it seems I cracked the pressure plug while putting it in and it fell off. Put the old 96 solenoid/pressure sensor in, fixed!
Still sometimes has a very very slight stutter/shaking when RPMs drop to idle but not even close to as consistent as before. Probably a tuneup and cleaning out the IACV will fix, or maybe just get new motor mounts? Runs great otherwise, thanks!!
