so..i had my cv axels replaced..
i think thats what its called.. basically my front axels replaced because my cv boots were torn, anyway..i picked my car up and thats fixed.but now when i brake over 40 mph..a strange clicking sound is coming from my passenger tire..also, my brakes lock up when im going about 50 and coming to a red light..the guy told me it may be because there's grease on my abs sensor? all i know is, they gave me my car back with brakes that basically are unreliable.they werent like that when i dropped my car off.sorry if this makes no sense..i dont know much about it but im so upset because im afraid to drive my car with the brakes locking up and pulsing like that..any insight is appreciated !!! thanks, jaclyn.
sounds to me like you need to threatin them to fix it. but it does sound like the ABS sensors are messed up in some way.
Maybe they used the wrong axles
just trying to eliminate possiblities

This might sound stupid, but does your ABS light come on when you start your car? What's your year/model? Check your paperwork and see if there is any warranty on the services performed; if there is, bring it back under the warranty.
my abs light doesnt come on when i start my car, its a 1993 prelude. the thing is i took my car to get one problem fixed, and it created a whole new one.
i was just there now, for 3 hours!, and they told me they "fixed it" but its the same as when i dropped it off..they have no idea what theyre doing.

Your ABS light should come on briefly at startup to let you know the light is working. If it doesn't come on at all, the light is out and should be replaced; it's very possible there is a malfunction in the ABS system and you just don't know it. It might be something as simple as a wheel speed sensor left unplugged, but it could also be a broken sensor or a short in the wires. If you can, double check that all the sensors are plugged in at each of the wheels. I'm not sure, but ABS faults might be picked up by an OBD code-reader; I would try taking it to an autoparts store and having them do a code scan and see if anything comes up. But yeah, it sounds like unfortunately the shop where you had the work done doesn't exactly know what they are doing. Good luck.
hi everyone!! thanks for all your help! they FINALLY found the problem after 3 days.. one of the notches on the abs sensor ring was broken( the NEW axel they just put in! they prob broke it)..so thats why it kept tripping my abs to come on.. they had to replace the driver side axel with a new one
Glad to hear they figured it out and got it fixed, I know its scary when abs starts freaking out for no reason! My WRX the abs can get triggered at odd times, and scares the hell out of you, have to back off the pedal for a second to reset it.
