When braking hard, the brakes pump very loud like a thumping sound. It's snowing here in MN, so even during light braking its loud too. Is it just my car or does everyone else's car do this too?
I tried braking hard in my sister's Jetta and it's smooth. Anyone?

do you mean its pulsating like when the ABS kicks in? I'm not sure about driving in snow since I live in So Cal and we don't get snow here...

can you elaborate on the sound?

 

ABS. And yeah it BRAKES

 

I know it's my ABS(should have mentioned that earlier) , but is it suppose to be that loud? In other cars, it's quiet.

EDIT: Also noticed that I used the wrong spelling of brakes in the title .
