Default So BFG's are on back order and I need good tires in 3 weeks

Hey guys I ordered 225/50/15's for my car all the way around and I won't get them in time so I canceled the order.

I guess I am wondering what to do? I've read a lot about other tires and most apparently suck in comparison unless I get slicks, which I can't really drive on a 500 mile trip I am going on and planned on rocking the BFG's.

At this point I might try and run 215/15's in the rear, but does anyone have a good alternative to BFG's for street use that will still offer great traction in 225/50(or 45)/15 sizes?

If anyone cares I'll be making 480whp approx...

Yea but how are they on the street? BFG's are usually good for like 5,000 miles...and I might put at least 1000 miles on tires for this road trip? What about hoosier 225/50/15's? Thoughts?

Its not that hard to switch out rims man. Why dont you just get track tires and regular road tires.
Takes 30 min to switch out all 4 wheels.

I would get all street tires and then have track tires...but for this little trip and even I'm going to I need to have sticky front tires lol. I think I am just going to get some dunlop 215/50/15 for the rears and then I was thinking either Hoosiers for the front....or the M/T's, but I cannot find M/T's in 225? Anyone have a link?

Anyone have any idea how well the BFGs 225/50/15 on 15x7 +35 offset wheels will fit in the front of a ITR on stock height suspension? I really don't wanna roll the fenders right now, but also don't wanna rub...

I was going to put them all around the car, but after thinking about it I might just run some 215 street tires that are cheaper in the rear...is that what most of you are doing?

Why would you run DR's all the way around? Are you drag racing or trying to hit some turns? I would imagine a 225 BFG on the back would look kinda stupid, and be 3 times as dangerous as just running them on the front.

I read a few reviews saying they were fine on the street, but they wear very quickly and suck in the rain. Apparently your only getting like 1,000-2,000 miles out of them if you street them
