what should i do to my 95 civic?
well if you want power you can either keep that d and boost it or supercharge it. dont waste your money on things like headers and intake and exhaust its realli not gonna get u any HP. your best bet to gain power is a swap somethin like a b16 or gsr would b a nice set up for your car.

u can pick up a b16 complete swap from like HMO motors for like 1700 or a gsr complete swap for like 2200 i think ... and then like ur gonna have to pay a shop to do it cuz it sounds like u dont kno much about the honda game but its good to always learn.

dude, the best thing to do is what you feel you want to do to your car. i think it's dumb to build a car to everyone else's expectations (a lot of people do this). see what's available, what your budget can handle, but most importantly, do what YOU want with the car. it's your car and your money. spend it how you want to, not how others want you to. there is a BOAT LOAD of information on almost every honda engine ever made on wikipedia. if you have a shop drop the motor in for you, take every chance you can to go down to the shop and watch them work on the car. ask lots of questions- they'll be glad to answer everything, especially since you're giving them a fat chunk of cash to do the work. thats my 2 cents. have fun with the car dude.
PS- i would get rid of those hubcaps immediately before you make an a$$ out of yourself.

b16 for 1700 and gsr 2200 from HMO I wish that would be great though.............the b16 complete swap from hmo is $2500 shipped to florida and the gsr is $3250. get a lip even the stock one would make a difference. get some suspension and slam dat coupe. get amber corners cheap like $30(ebay). and then rims etc you'll figure it out once you start reading honda magazines and lookin at pics online
Seriously. Before you do ANYTHING with that car. Learn about it first. Read as much as you can on this forum and buy yourself a Helms manual or Chilton or something. Don't touch the car until you've learned it in and out. Then you wont need to ask these questions. And you can make decisions like these on your own.
Thats what I did and I hardly ask questions about my car now.

^^^ i completely agree im on my first honda and knew nothing about them till i started reading stuff on this forum and now ive done a few wire tucks for me and my buddies and im about to start my first engine swap...just take time and go through some of the build threads and tech threads and like mike said get a manual those things tell you EVERYTHING about your car. oh and stay far faaar away from the rice.
Start by changing the oil and doing routine maintenance. Helps you get to know your car better and learn to wrench a little bit while maintaining your car.
like the other guys said, do your research! read up on your car and try to learn as much as YOU can, and when YOU are sure about what YOU want to do then go for it. and don't cut corners along the way. take your time and use quality parts and you will be happy you did down the line in the future
yea i agree do research and find out what you want your car to look like.... who cars what other people tell you what you shoud do with your car or how it should look...as long as you like it and are happy with it then thats all that matters! Read and search around....look in the apperance and cosmetic forum you will find alot of nice lookin eg coupes in there....and some good inspiration
A JDM B16a Longblock for hmotorsonline.com cost 1k plus shipping(usually around 300). All you would need is the ECU(if you dont buy it from hmo), tranny, axles, shift linkage, ect. Just an option. If you are gonna stay with your d series, then maybe you should do a auto to manual swap, unless you really want an auto. While you are waiting, do alot of research to find out what will fit you best. Maybe you want to do a D series turbo, or a b series swap and go N/A or turbo. Its really all up to you.
