offset on dc2 disc conversion different from 99 civic si?
I was told that the dc2 offset onto an ek is different from a 99 civic si disc conversion on the ek? Any truth to that?
sMoKe_RoCkS (11:29 AM 4/16/2008): rear DC2 rear stick out farther causing you to run a higher offset on your wheels. wich is no prob if your not planning on going to the track. also you will need the DC2 Sway bar

Looked up the hubs from and dc2 and civic si and they are different part numbers.

the disc's are the same but the control arm's are different peeps the integra rear has a wider stance the wich is not a problem if you dont want to run wide tires. But hey i could be wrong I am a Toyota tech not a honda tech. just posting what ive been told

absolutely wrong info on the conversion. the civic si front knuckle is the exact same as the dc2, so are the rotor size. the only different that you might come across is if the si has the same caliper as 92-00 civic ex's. if that's the case then they are slightly off on pads compare to the dc2, but are totally swappable.

as for the rears, they are exactly the same. just put dc2 rear disc and trailing arm on a 96 ex. the difference between the 2 is the control arm on all 96-00 civics are longer than that of the integra or 92-95 civic. so you cannot use the LCA of the integra on a 96-00 civic or vice versa. you can how ever use the LCA from you EK and bolt it to a dc2 rear trailing with no problem.
