performer X piggyback be tuned?

can performer X piggyback be tuned?
I have a '95 civic with a LS motor. I plan on buying the edelbrock performer X turbo kit. they only make the kit for the GSR. would it be fine to run it on my LS or would it have to be tuned? can the Mototron piggyback that it comes with be tuned at a shop?
