I need the wiring info on a 1992 Civic SI 3Dr VSS Speed Sensor. If anyone has a picture or diagram showing what wires are what and where they go on the VSS speed sensor. That would be greatly appreciated. I don't have the wire harness that connects to the electronic VSS speed sensor. And don't want to connect the VSS to the wrong wires and damage it. I am doing a gauge cluster swap that is why I need this info.

 

the vss plug is like a square it onley fits the vss plug wont fit other

 

I need the wiring info. As in which wire goes where on the VSS. As, I do not have the connector end or wiring harness. I know there are three wires power, ground, and VSS signal. I need to know which wire goes where. I have attached a picture of the VSS speed sensor below.

what color are the wires that plug into the speed sensor??

 

alrighty, here it is. power wire solid yellow sensor wire yellow blue and ground is black. wire your ground to your water jacket ground or other suitable ground, water jacket through the loom is easiest, well through the loom no, but its the oe ground for that sensor. find a power connector and your ecu pinout is on the forum here's a picture as well.
