Default New to the DA world.....

Picked up this little GEM about 2 weeks ago.

Little old man drove it since it was new. He had a new motor put in when the original b18a starting knocking. Well I go to look at it as a new daily driver and to my suprise. a b17!!!!

So I bought it.

Mods so far:
b17
AEBS intake manifold
Hondata Gaskets for TB and Manifold
p30 ECU w/ Kenji chip

This thing is in GREAT condition almost mint (the hood got beat up by a garage door, but not bad)

Interior is mint not a rip or tear in it!!!

Wait for it......wait for it...

443K on the chassis

So now to some questions:

What companies make full coilovers for the DA?

Will any of the J's racing or slug style carbon fiber intakes fit on this car.

Where do babies come from?

the car looks good. rep the b17 till it dies. good motor for boost. the J's racing or slug style carbon fiber intakes should fit if you relocate your battery. look into the passwordjdm battery relocators there good and all they do is move them down.

Progress Competition Coil Over Suspension Systems
Tein Super Street Type Damper (Coil Overs)
TEIN Basic Coilover System
off the top of my head those are they types i remember.
hope i helped some.....lol good luck any more questions just ask.
(P.S.- babies come from the stork duh )

Awesome find!! I wonder if the old man ever came close to hittin vtec lol
I have the tein super streets with pillowball mounts and edfc in my 92 DA and their sweet. Defentily do it right the first time and just go straight for coilovers no lowering springs or any of that stuff!

nice find and welcome to the da world. you're going to notice that any part you want to find is either mad jdm or super duper rare. but yeah the suspension pretty much most companies make coilovers for da's but the only difference from a da to a dc in suspension is the front forks so if you replace those, your options in suspension is wide open.

the slug intake is possible but you need to relocate your battery as stated above, but seen you have abs the passwordjdm one wouldn't work to where it's designed for, pretty much if you get it all you're doing is getting a carbon fiber bracket that you'll have to install somewhere else.

goodluck with it all.
