idk, stock 140/128, just thought it was nice that someone actually made a clutch for this car... ya kno? why? do u not need a clutch???
Usually people replace their clutch if they are planning on making a bunch of power or they toast their stock one. The stock clutch is fine for I/H/E. There are people with supercharged Si's running around on stock clutches. Waste of money if you don't need it IMO.
cool, well, reason y i ask is cuz i'm ordering a turbo in the next few months and wanna get all that stuff prepared... so yeh. idk, some ppl are funny.
soooo about the fidanza flywheel... worth buying or wait???

I believe it. If he has a fairly decent paying job and lives with his parents (which he probably does) and he doesn't have too many bills, he could afford a turbo.

Just so you know, there are several companies that have clutches and flywheels for this car. Check out CorSport USA. They have lots of stuff for our cars.
By the way. I am pushing 260hp to the wheels with 170+ in torque and still run the stock the clutch set-up. Seen to many people brake motor mounts with an aftermarket clutch.

Um, how many carb certified turbo kits are available for the R18?

lol, i didnt kno being young is a HUGE factor of not playing with cars. lol. i thought playing with cars was for everyone. I'm playing with an R18 tho, not an SI... i wish i could pull off 260HP with an R18, that would be fun. so what i'm getting from everyone is, screw the clutch and the flywheel and just go get a turbo???

It's just been my experience over the last 10 years with several different manufacturer platforms that youthful buyers who have bought vehicles in the trim level you have are usually window shoppers with a shopping list that doesn't even come close to their budget. Generally speaking the reason they bought a car with a lower trim either couldn't afford it or their parents bought their car or is helping with some form of the expense.
My personal recommendation is put the money you planed on spending into a money market and leave your daily driver stock. Pay off your vehicle early to avoid all that interest and put that money into a 5th or 6th gen civic project car.
In the end you will go the opposite route.
To answer your original question the clutch and flywheel won't benefit you in any measurable way. As some have stated earlier replace it with the aftermarket stuff if your OEM stuff is on its way out. Get the traditional bolt-on's and a respectable suspension, wheel/tire combo.

hehe, i understand what you mean by them window shoppers... most kids around here have mommy and daddy pay for the parts and labor. i just buy the parts and install them myself.
I would LOVE to grab myself an SI or something, was the original plan, however, i got the car when i was 17 under my parent's (they didnt want to get an SI for me) althought i'm paying for the car and bought everything in it. the good news is that i still have my stock parts and very relieved of that. mostly i take the canyons to get to and back from work everyday. as far as buffing out the suspension, that is a must for me... lol. a lot of people are telling me i'm wasting my money, hey that's cool. u live, u learn, u die.
I jsut thought i'd boost the car up a little while i was in for the modifications. I think just for kicks i'll spend another 3-400 just for a bolt on header/downpipe and wait to get myself a nice SI. =\
jsut thought little baby civic had a chance to prove...
i'm back to thinking my car is crap

Its not crap, its just an R18.
Just chill out, you have a way better car then some people so be happy. I know people who are twice your age and drive an 88 accord.
I started saving up for 3 years before I got my SI
