What do you think of this clutch?
Hey i'm in need of a new clutch and i saw this one clutch on ebay. Has anyone ever heard of this clutch company. Just wondering if its worth it or not cause it seems like a goood deal for a clutch and flywheel combo. Thanks

that's just a stock clutch...your revs will drop too soon with that flywheel and I'll just stick to a new clutch and pressure plate...no need for the other stuff..
here's a great deal... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33730

Yah bro- I got the ACT streetlight flywheel- I thought I would like it but my revs drop pretty quick.(took some getting used too) and I seem to remember my flywheel is like 11.5lbs. I couldn't emagine what an 8lbs flywheel would feel like. so be carefull on how light you go. Good luck on what ever you decide.

thanks for the replies. i think i'm going with the clutch specialties stage 2 solid hub clutch. my friend had it in his hatch and i loved the way it felt. it also lasted pretty long even with all the drag racing, dyno runs,etc... its still good but the kid who he sold the car to totaled the car.

your revs dont go up as fast as they drop when your actually driving, not just reving your engine. Some flywheels are so light (ie 8 pounds), that you have to feather the throttle inbetween shifts to keep your syncros from wearing fast, leading to premature grinding. Also, launching your car with an 8 pound FW isnt the easyest thing to do...mostly due to the lack of inertia.
