choice: tokico "blues" or kyb agx's
i'm leaning towards the kyb's but i heard they don't last as long so i'm wondering if they'd be worth it. i wouldnt be using them to race anyways though. opinions?
The AGXs have a really good warranty, so even if they do break, who cares.
Just be forewarned, that even on the softest setting, they are stiffer than stock.

on this link, you get a kit for 88-91crxsi, that has tokico blues, with tokico springs that have about 1.5 drop, for 371 bucks, i will probably replace my old 150,000 shocks and springs with this, when i scrounge enough cash up.

i've never used tokico blues before but i have ridden in a car with the illuminas. the ride is nice and very much like what i remember a stock ride to be. heh.
i have AGXs on my teg and like them alot. i have them mated to eibach pro-kit springs. this is a very nice setup that can ride stock-like on the soft setting and harsher on the stiffest setting.
the one thing about the AGX warranty is you can't lower your car more than 1.25" or have springs 50% stiffer than stock.
EDIT: car i rode in has illuminas not blues. sorry.

yeah i know comparing blues vs agx's was not a good comparison, but like most ppl, i'm on a budget. thats what eliminated koni yellows and tokico illuminas from my shopping list

On my old CRX I had Tokico Illumina/Skunkworks...they rode great.
Kyb Agx sound like crap if you cant lower your car with them.
How about getting Koni Yellows?

If your patient enough you can get AGX's on E-Bay for less than $330 (brand spanking new). I payed $305 dollars for my AGX's ($328 with shipping). Check out this E-Bay seller and watch his auctions "extremeautoparts" Hope this helps.
My friend races down/up "The Mountain" with Tokico Blues, I think if they are good enough for that, they should be good enough to buy.
I have Tokico blues....and they SUCK! What a waste of money...and now I have to replace em and they're not even broke...they work like they're broken though.
Take my word and a few others, stay away from Tokico Blues my friend.
