yellow headlights?
Honestly...you can get film or spray.
LaminX is a film
Vans is a spray
Ive used both on my fog lights. I like the spray a lot more.
If you want to know the legality of it....call the DMV (this is not a law forum)....though it is probably NOT legal

some guy on here is trying to sell yellow headlights for like 50 bucks i think. i was thinking about buying them but not sure if i really want to. look in marketplace to find them.
dont use spray you'll regret it when you get pulled over with the quickness, and trust me you will, and you cant take it back to stock.
You can get laminx film, and peel it off you get in trouble.

Pretty sure you can't legally have yellow headlights in most places, if you really want it lamin-x is the way to go just so you can avoid paying a fix it tickiet by peeling it off. iirc, the laws regarding foglamp color in MOST states allow for yellow foglights, some Lexuses (lexi?) come stock with yellow fogs, but usually they have an amber/yellow bulb not a spray or a film, most auto part stores carry bulbs in yellow, and god know what other colors, but my question is why do you want your headlamps to be yellow

WRONG. Sorry to burst your bubble, but i've been pulled over three times for yellow headlights. So, no its illegal to have yellow headlights. Technically, you can only have yellow fogs on the lexus (or if it came stock with them from the factory) otherwise its illegal. However, the fogs they dont really ever do anything about (this is from the DMV and local police stations) but yellow head lights are ILLEGAL in the state of Wisconsin as well as most other states.
Not worth your time, even though they look completely awesome. Its jsut a matter of time until you will get yanked for it!

Most laws state that a headlight can show a white or "shades of yellow" light. The interpretation of the law is up to the officer, so while one might be fine with your **** yellow headlights, others will not.
In California it is definitely illegal.

I know this from experince. I was stop some time ago for having the yellow tint on my BULBS and had to go to court. After going the the ordinaces I found that it is legal to have yellow in the front of the car and the courts drop the charge.
In WI it is LEGAL to have yellow showing from the front of a car. An now adays with all the HID cars an suv's driving around with there purple/blue or yellow/white and so forth how is anyone to know what color is legal lol.
The officer instructed me that the only colors that cant be shown from the front of a car is red/blue/green and in the rear it can be red/whit/amber/yellow but white turn signals are illegal.

It said a covering is not allowed (so no sprays or films) and it says white or amber is only allowed on the front. So it's up to their discretion on whether they're going to say **** yellow looks enough like "amber" to be legal.
Some officers and judges might not care, but others might not like it.

Ok I will corrrect my self on this:
I did not see the part of the cover or films, For that I am sorry for arguing.
Spray films and covers are illegal here and State Patrol with flick your butt for it.

State of IL, no lighting of any color other than white or amber may be in front of the passenger compartment on a car. Same as wisconsin probably, up to the officer/court to say how 'yellow' they are.
I ran GREEN foglights on my old SHO taurus just dicking around and never got pulled over for it, I really think when it comes to FOG lights, cops really don't care unless they are having a REALLY bad day...

I have white turn signals in the back. They are pretty bright too, but they have a little bit of yellow tint to the light so maybe they look ok. Not sure. I also have white lights with no reflectors, but red bulbs for the brakes and it passed inspection, hope it does again in a few months. If not, I will just throw some red reflective vinyl on the lights and put in amber bulbs for the inspection.
All lights and bulbs are tricky things, but it really depends on what your cop thinks is legal or not.

I see nothing wrong with following the laws (by and large). Anyway, yellow headlights offer no performance gain at all.
