i'm thingking about buying this little kit to turbo my 94 integra, my questions are, is the turbo a good size to make 230-275 on 7-10 psi and also how well do ebay turbos work? Also, im not using there waste gate, i'll be usint a Tial 38mm. Just really buying the kit for the turbo, manifold, and oil line kit.

Im gonna build an ls block on the side and also buy a precision sc-61 turbo so this is just to get started.

That turbo will support over 400 HP. Well, that is if it doesn't go out on you first. I had use some ebay turbo before. I never had any problems with them. Just make sure you use a restrictor on your turbo.

what is a turbo restrictor?

 

It's just a fitting that goes into the turbo before your oil feed line. It just a fitting with a smaller hole inside the fitting to restrict the oil. Alot of oil pressure into ebay turbo will eventually blow your seal out or start leaking through it causing your car to smoke like crazy.

Garrett's don't run into this problem do they?

 

I wouldnt buy that setup. Its worth your money to buy a good turbo so that you dont have to worry about it crapping out on you. If you can afford it, just snag a 57 trim and roll with it. You can get good used ones for $400 or so...that's a much better option. Also, the 57 trim may cost more, but you will be able to sell it to someone else and lose very little money; whereas, who knows whether this turbo will even work for your setup, let alone last long enough to sell...
