Default UPDATE: WWU FSAE Dyno Event! Bellingham, WA May 10th-11th

Western Washington University's Formula SAE team will be doing a Dyno Event Saturday/Sunday on May 10th-11th. We're planning on strapping down the first car at 8am and closing the shop at 6pm both days. Free hot dogs, hamburgers, and WIRED energy drinks will be provided. 3 dyno pulls w/ print out for 40 dollars. All proceeds will go to funding our Formula SAE car! Our car needs a new set of race tires for competition, data acquisition sensors, oil, filters, etc. and we need money to go racing!

Who: Western Washington University's FSAE team
What: Dyno Day! (weekend actually )
Where: Western Washington University's Vehicle Research Institute (VRI) (map below!)
When: Sat/Sun May 10th 8am-6pm both days
Why: To raise funds for Viking 43! We need more sensors for our data acquisition system and new tires for the FSAE West competition (June 25th)
How much does it cost? 40 dollars for 3 pulls w/ dyno graph
What kind of dyno? Land and Sea 2wd
How do I sign up? Post in this thread what day and time you'd like to dyno. We're planning on scheduling 1 car an hour! (e.g. Sat @ 10am, Sun @ 2pm, etc.)

Directions:
From I-5 (Northbound)
Take Exit 252 towards Western Washingon
Turn left onto S. Samish Way
You'll come to a four way intersection, take a left onto Samish Way.
At the second intersection take a left onto Bill McDonald Parkway.
Turn right onto S College Drive
You'll come to a T in the road, Take a right onto E College Way
Follow this until the end of the straight section and turn left into the parking lot.

Frick hope i can get my valves in and car running before then. You think they would mind if i dyno tuned there with Dave Lee lol? Ima come check it out anyway though

yeah if you need your own tuning session we can do that too... basically weekends/weekdays are open. If you have your own tuner that's fine...if you need your car tuned by us...we can do that as well. Just PM me for a dyno apt and we'll get you set up. All the private sessions money goes to our FSAE team and the VRI.

Got the majority of the valves in tonight so that gives me a good head start. Ill talk to Dave when i know for sure the car will be done and pm you about an appointment. What kind of dyno is it, curious? Also be nice to meet you since im in need of a resident fabricator

well that makes two of us that need some tuning around the same time. Will you see if he can tune aem ems, i was told that he mostly works with crome and what not but if he can do aem for the same as he charges for crome im down.


If i make it up there I can talk to you again eric about doing the cage in my s2000.

these are just baseline pulls... no tuning during these sessions. If you guys want to tune we can set up for another day.

Put me down for sunday at 12:30 after all the SRT guys. Going to dyno my brothers DA to get a baseline idea before we upgrade the turbo and finish the piping etc
