91 accord engine vibration help
i just got this 91 accord and when i put it in to reverse the engine vibrate real bad i changed the front and rear mount but its still the same

I assume it's an auto. How bad are we talkin here? What is your idle speed in N and when you out it in R? Be a little more specific if you can.
Perhaps adjust the idle, clean the ICV, make sure it's got a good air filter in it and that the TB is clean. I also seafoamed it through the intake plenum. I did all that, a full tune up and put an AEM short ram intake on mine and it worked absolute wonders making the motor run and idle smoother. Dang near night and day. It also got me a few MPG.

As he had said, your motor mounts could be gone, and that mixed with slightly off timing will create real bad shaking in my experience.
I would try replacing the rear motor mount, can't go wrong with a new one.

well i replaced the front and rear mount already as far as the idle and the icv i never checked it has a cone filter on the stock tube and the vibration it feels like you got a decent sound system in the back
