Default dc2 jdm oem hid cut off pics

At first it looked sharper but there was no color at the cutoff at all, so i decided to do the lense spacing because i can't do the shield spacing do to the fact that it has a fixed shield. So i want some opion on it, how come it fades already from short distance. What do i need to do to achieve a sharper cutoff at far distance. Im thinkin about cutting the oem shield and replace it with a custom shield plus i wanted to reverse the cutoff to so it wont blind oncoming traffic.

anyways, my bro is running some oem dc2 hid's also... but i have no idea if you can change out the shields or not. also, it seems like you have your beams adjusted up way too high... do people high beam you a lot? my bro's car get high beamed a lot and his beam is aiming down. is there any ways you can just change out the lense to a s2k lense?
