I just want everyone to know, that I searched and searched and couldn't find a correct answer.

I purchased a 97 JDM B18c from HMO. I just recieved the motor. It's going to go into my 1994 GSR this week. And before I do the swap, I wanted to make sure I have everything correct.

Can I use my USDM ECU?
I put my USDM harness onto the JDM b18c correct?

What else am I missing.

What kind of ecu do you have? That would help us know.

 

you can use the usdm p72 or 73 ecu depending if its type r or sir-g, thats how im running but mine is obd2, i guess u will need obd1 parts for your 94 gsr. like for example the dizzy. ect im not be familiar what parts are involve on that. mine was a straight swap.
