b16 running rich

Default b16 running rich

i did a b16 swap on a crx hf the car fires up everything good but i just bought new spark plug for the swap and as soon as i fired the car up the spark plugs turned black like is getting a lot of fuel what can that be cause i have a regulator and i set it up for 40 psi thats what it said on the manual so any help will be appreciated

have you tried turning down the regulator psi? when i was tuning it seemed like 24-26psi ran smoother than the manual recommended 37-47 or whatever it is. other than that, maybe an air/vacuum leak on your car. check the tb and intake gaskets/bolts...mine had loosened up

I have an AEM rail and regulator and when I set it like the instructions said, it ran WAY too rich.......set it with your vaccuum disconected from the regulator when the car is warmed up and put it at 38 lbs.

Thats what did it for me, runs perfect now.
