Rewiring front turn signals to the outside HELP.
Yes I did a search. A while back there was a white Type R that had rewired the front corner lenses so the turn signal is on the out side rather than the inside. I can't find that post and I am interested in doing this. Does anyone know which post it was on or know how to do it?
Actually its a 6 pack. 1 before starting, 1 for each bulb, and one when you're finished and admiring your work.

yeah I thought of that but for some reason I remember it involving a little more than that. Will the small bulb handle it? I know there was a post on it I just can't find it.
Check the bulbs and see what amp they run at. If they are the same then great, other wise, just soilder in the correct resistor when you change the ends.
pre 98 integras the outer bulb is a turn signal as well.
Its incredibly easy to wire the side bulb to blink with the front.
Take the negative lead off of the side bulb and tap it to the lead for the
front blinker. Result: side will come on with the parking lights and blink
with the turn signal.

...the side bulb is a single filament... do you mean the bulb would turn off when the signal is on? .... yeah, im guessing this is what you mean since it would make sense to me this way...
check the bulb out... even though they don't have it wired to blink any more they still us a dual filament bulb...
Story:
When I switch from my 97 GSR to my 2000 integra something or other.. I thought that it was broken, because it didn't blink like my '97 So I took out one of the bulbs to see what's up... I also had the old '97 factory bulbs and they were the same part number and you could see that it has two elements.
I called the dealership and asked if all I needed to do was change the current relay to the older one to make it work or if I had to add one.... They couldn't answer my question. So I still don't know, but I'm sure someone with time could look at the wiring diagram in a chilton and see if it can be done...
any one?

Here is the problem. I put PIAA super white bulbs in the clear corner lenses and the outside bulb lense is clear while the turn signal side is shady so when the lights are on you can tell the difference between the bulbs. I saw a white type R on this board that only had the outside bulbs hooked up. It made the front end look wider since he only had the outside bulb hooked up.
On alll 94+ integra models the front are dual filament and the sides are single.
Just on 98+ the side do not turn off when the front signal blinks.
If you just want the sides to blink do what i said before and remove the front bulb

I don't want the front bulb to blink I want the single filament side bulb to be used as the turn signal.
