I figured I would do something with my spare time, and explain myself.
Consider this my build.
Hatch v.3
I'll try to stay on topic.
First thing is first. The red '97 Honda Civic that I currently own is my 3rd hatchback.
I like it a lot, but it is going to take me a while to get used to it being mine.
My first hatch was '97 purple with a b16a. Some guy hit me, I waited for insurance to give me money, then sold the shell and put the b16 into a new hatch.
My second hatch was '99 silver sohc non-v. Put the b16 in, did a few more things to it, and then it was Stolen and stripped of everything useful. The thing that makes me the most mad, is that I was probably 30 seconds too late to still having that car. It sucks that I actually SAW them take it.
I am happy with my ny hatch. I have plans to make this one better, and I hope to not lose it any time soon. I think one of my flaws is having to be independent. I like to do my own work to the car and if it's something I can't figure out, I want to find out and do it anyway. Of course there will be times I can't figure something out, and I have very nice friends that are willing to help. I definitely don't know everything. But I'd rather be told 'how' to do it, and then learn by the experience.
A lot of people say I'm 'stupid' for getting another honda, after one being stolen, especially with the theft rate here in Florida. But I thought for a long time (about 2 weeks
) and decided if I got another type of car, I wouldn't be 'happy', and I would feel as if I've let myself 'settle for less'.
Here are a few quick pictures, but definitely more to come. These were taken kind of quick, but I'll be getting another camera tomorrow, so I'll take more pictures myself. Mine was stolen in my old car

Since I'm working a lot, and am finding it hard to find time to spend my money, I haven't done much to it yet. I hate the fact that this car is already 'modded' exterior wise, because I'd rather start from scratch and acquire my own things, but since I lost about $10,000 in the last car, I didn't mind starting halfway. I'm not a fan of gsr blades, so I have new rims being shipped.
The only thing I've changed so far was an upgraded alarm, with a bunch of gismos and gadgets. I'm not slacking this time, I really would hate to have another one stolen. I took out the 99-00 cupholder and put the 96-98 one in, and added a radio where the stock cd player was located. Everything is converted to 99-00, but I'm not gonna lie, the cupholder SUCK, and I needed space for the radio haha. As much as I'd LOVE to sing or talk to myself...I gotta have music. And then last I put the quick release in. But the steering wheel pictured is not the one I ordered. That was the only one in stock for 'nrg' brand at the moment, and I needed it quick, so expect that to change as soon as I browse the internet a little more lol.

It's so refreshing to see someone so dedicated, even after so much misfortune. Moreover, that you are also a fellow girl I see you already have a quick-release, but please be mindful of your surroundings and where you leave the car! Would be heartbreaking to see another one stolen. Have fun & be safe

Yup I have the lock that goes on after the steering wheel is taken off too. All that, and now she sleeps in a garage. That has an alarm as well...
Before I didn't have a garage, but it was always blocked in my by 3 other cars. We had been looking to move, but was just going to decide if we found something well worth it, but after the loss happened, I actually SEARCHED and 2 weeks later we moved and now we have a garage, and it's all mine. I can sleep a little better at night hahah but I'm still cautious, and if I take it anywhere I'm not far from it, and still do all the stuff I need to in order to keep her safe
About the lip. Eh I didn't put that on there, so like I said I'm working on still personalizing it, to be more "me". I'm just glad it has the "stuff" it does, so I can just kind of switch the objects instead of it being bare and adding little by little.

Yeah I'm on b20vtec but have only been posting just recently. I'm on a million forums. If you google NeonX143 it's all me, except like this one chic on a forum from Minnesota?!?! or something.
Anyway I tried to post this one earlier, but the front tag is now off....
and that's the auto coupe in the background that my pop mostly drives. But it's under my name, and I use it if mine is 'out of order' or 'under construction'.
And no I don't like the shocker haha
