I'm gonna go out on a limb here, I'm gonna have to say buying another AC system used, putting it in, and having it charged.

That sounds a lot like a personal question to me. Are you an AC specialist?

You able to make high pressure lines with all the correct fittings and such? If so, go ahead and make them. Otherwise, find a used system off of somebody.

Is there really any point to this thread?

yeah there is a point to this thread, is there any point to you posting useless information. What i wanted to know was can i make a/c lines like how you can bend and flare brake lines.

First question, is your car still boosted? Will the a/c stuff fit if so? If it will, I would say track down used lines that are known to be good, since there are a few different style fittings, and the plugs for filling and evacuating the system etc. I would assume theres a few people around with a/c parts they don't need, I know I have prety much all my 4th gen a/c parts sitting beside my garage.

Don't mean to thread jack, but I don't want to start another thread about AC stuff.

I bought my car and it didn't have the A/C in it, but the guy gave me a box full of A/C stuff. What are all the pieces and wires and junk that I need to reinstall it? Thanks. A link is fine with me if you have one!
