We were recently able to go to the dyno with Eddie Bello. He just returned back from the Texas mile where he came in 2nd place. He ran 226 mph in the mile with his street porsche. He wanted to see what numbers the car would put down with the changes that he made. Needless to say he made more HP than last time.

HOLY **** he's BACK! that man's been lost.

I'll never forget seeing him do 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear wheelies at moroso like 7 years ago. just an unbelievable sight. Happy to see that car back.

in the 20 or so years ive been in this game he is 1 of the smartest guys ive ever meet ...i dont think their is anything car wise he cant do

 

is he planning on running any drag events?

 

don't think so, his goal is the one mile at Texas, he ran 226 mph the other day, few days later he tweaked the car even more, In October he will go at it again, that's the info I gather. I think his goal is 230mph

He did tell me that he may run a few events this year. He may even be at the Texas Tuner Showdown from what I hear.

The twin turbo vipers didn't stand a chance this year as I had thought.


One of the Supra's took the win again, and man that thing was moving. The porsche has a good showing though.

Not to bring up old bad news in an exciting thread, but does anyone know how much time he did back in '01 or whenever that was?

226mph is insane... that's some good stuff. How fast did the winning Supra go?

 

not much id guess if hes already back in the scene wth a killer car like that ...on a side note did ya ever see the pro rear wheel porsche he built just before he had the probs? that car was a peice of art!!i wonder where it is now

 

first, i'm a big eddie bello fan.

he can definitely build/tune 911's with the best of em.

someone asked about his legal problems...not sure how long he spent in jail...was for possession of a firearm (apparently in new york thats a crime...here in florida its a right), stolen porsche motors...etc....but jeanine pirro was the prosecutor...who ended up running and losing against hillary clinton to become senator of new york.

What I heard the car and trailer were stolen and the car was burned. I'm not sure if the thives were looking for the engine or just the trailer.
