im using an ls oil pan with a type r oil and water pump. baffle im refering to is this

That is a windage tray and yes you need one. However your engine should already have one...... Every B-series has one stock however the GSR's and Type-R's have a different one from the LS.

i dont have one bc im buying everything and putting it together. im not adding a vtec head to my exisiting block. im running an ls oil pan, does that mean i need a windage tray for an ls
